Hi Pops,
Well another year has past, and its now your birthday again, and its a big one, you would have been 70 today, really hope mum is having a huge party for you, I'm sure you will have a special day, surrounded with love.
Mum will have invited all your parents, and friends that are in the sunshine, in heaven, please remember to invite Freddie, he would love a family party.

Baby Brian........ 1st Birthday x x x
Hi pops, can't believe that liccle cute Baby Brian is a whole one already, he got loads of lovely prezzies and had a wonderful party today.
He has such a magical smile, and the cutest laugh, melts your heart everytime. You and mum would have loved been around him, he is so bright, all chatty and loads of fun.
I know you will have popped in today to be around the family, all together again, it was a lovely sunny and warm day, felt like you were sharing yours with us, and hugging us. It was a lovely party, lots of fun for the kids, and happy times once again.
Still find it tough without you pops, but time is a healer, and I know you are here, I feel you sometimes, feels like you are holding me in my sleep, thats what I always want to feel, dont ever stop.

Funny thing life pops, the world seems such a crazy place without you, everybody seems so lost without you to guide them. You were always the beacon that we all followed, please shine your sunshine on us all, I know I could do with a liccle of your love right now.

Seems so strange that it is over a year now, still keep thinking it is all just a crazy dream, and I will wake from the nightmare to see you smile again.
It was Kellys Birthday meal and drinks yeaterday, was a lovely night, all the family together. You and mum would be so very proud of how close the family is, you would adore liccle Baby Brian, he is such a cutey, and has such an infectious smile and laugh, he really warms your heart, no matter how things are, mum would ave treasured him so much, especially as he is named after you dad.
We are having a barbecue at Jennys today, would be nice to think you are walking amongst us, enjoying the good old times, all the family having fun...together.

Funny thing life, as I write this, it has just passed the exact time you were gone, I woke up at the same time as I did last year, felt like you were here, holding my hand, telling me today will be ok, a sunny day, a day for the family, and to remember you as that shining beacon at the heart of the family that you always were.
I know it will be hard for the whole family today, you touched so many lives, and left such a void when you were taken so very quickly, not a day goes by without me thinking how much I miss you.
So many things are so different now, but you would say life moves on, never stops, and things always happen for a reason, I know it was your wish to go to mum, a wish you had wanted for so many years, we all know that you wanted to see mums smile, to feel her touch, she was your soul mate, and now you will spend eternity together, in your sunshine place.
Guess life will get better, I know you have been around a lot of late, felt you carrying me a few times, when I have felt weak, just like you used to.
You are the best person I have ever known, and I am proud to say you are my Dad.
